Junior League (14U) baseball is played within the Auckland Baseball Association league under Little League rules. It is classed as a competitive grade by the ABA so games are scored and player statistics are tracked, however it is largely about learning the game and having fun. Games are played on a 56/80 diamond. Many players at this age have played through the grades, however we also get some new players joining. These new players are taught skills first and soon learn the game.
Eligibility: Cannot turn 15 before 1/9/2026 (contact the club if you wish to seek dispensation)
Training: Mon + Wed, 1730-1930, Unsworth (with 16U)
Games: Saturdays at 1400 with home games at Unsworth/Stafford and away games at other clubs (possibly under lights on a Friday night at Bears).
Gear: Standard club arrangements; Male players must wear a box / athletic protector
