Winter Ball 2026

Our Winter Ball programme suits both beginners and experienced players. The T-Ball / Under 10s sessions give girls and boys a chance to experience baseball, learn new skills, have fun, and get active! Meanwhile, our Winter Ball sessions for older age groups focus on skill development and training for speed and fitness. All sessions are led by our team of experienced coaches. Both new and existing players are welcome, including members of other clubs!
Winter 2026 Dates and Location
Two free-to-try Sunday sessions on 21-June and 28-June (open to everyone) followed by up to 10 sessions on Sundays from 5-July to 6-September (for registered participants). All at Unsworth Reserve, subject to weather.
Winter 2026 Sunday Session Times
0900 – 1000: T-Ball and Under 10s
1000 – 1200 Group 1: Under 12s and Under 13s
1000 – 1200 Group 2: Under 14s and Under 16s
1200 – 1400: Under 19s and Premier Grades
1400 – 1430: Free time
1430 – 1630: Adult Social Baseball
Activities
T-Ballers and 10U will focus on experiencing baseball, learning new skills, having fun, and being active. Older grades will have warm-ups including throwing (long toss) + skills development covering batting, pitching, base running, in-field and out-field + speed and fitness training.
Winter 2026 Fees
T-Ball to 10U: $100 for ten 60-minute sessions
12U to 16U: $175 for ten 120-minute sessions
19U+: $175 for ten 120-minute sessions

Payment: Payment of fees is required to complete registration.

Club Equipment: The cost of replacing equipment given to you during the winter training period will be passed on to you in the event that equipment are not returned by the end of the winter training period

The North Shore City Baseball Club Incorporated (the Club) will ensure that information about you is protected by safeguards as required by the Privacy Act 1993.  No member of the Club will disclose this information to any person, except for the purposes described below or as authorised by you or when required or authorised by law. The information the Club holds will be used primarily to administer the Club.  In particular, this may involve the Club sharing information with Baseball New Zealand and the Auckland Baseball Association Incorporated.  The information may also disclosed to other members of the Club for the purpose of furthering the relationship between you and the Club.

Medical Statement: The Club will, with their best endeavours, present a professional and safe baseball programme, but accept no responsibility for any personal accident, damage, or injury to the public (including to the player) which is solely at the risk of the player. In case of a medical emergency, I hereby authorise the Club or a representative of the Club to seek the necessary treatment by emergency personnel (physician, emergency clinic, St Johns, nurse or first aider)
