Our summer coaching structure for 25/26 is under development following our 24/25 season review.
We will continue to have a Head Coach overseeing the appointment, development, and support of all club coaching. The Head Coach (Toshiki Nakao) will be assisted by lead coaches for the youth (Yuuki Takahashi), adult competitive (TBD), and adult social (Graeme Warren) programmes. Each team will have a coach and assistant coaches. Coaches are responsible for delivering training, game day line-ups and other leadership, and team culture. Assistant coaches help at training (e.g. delivering specialist sessions) and on game days (e.g. bench coach, base coach, etc).
All club coaches are police vetted and provided with training (e.g. alongside Winter Ball) and resources. This year, improved support and development for coaches is one of our four priorities.
