Our summer coaching structure for 25/26 is in place.
Our experienced coaching leaders oversee the appointment, development, and support of all club coaching. The Head Coach (Toshiki Nakao) is assisted by Deputy Head Coaches (Yuuki Takahashi, Yodai Nakamura) and lead coaches assigned to oversee each summer programme: youth 5-13 (Yodai), youth 14-16 (Toshiki), adult competitive (Adam Lough), and divisional (Graeme Warren). At the next level, each team will have a coach and assistant coaches. Coaches are responsible for delivering training, game day line-ups and other leadership, and team culture. Assistant coaches help at training (e.g. delivering specialist sessions) and on game days (e.g. bench coach, base coach, etc).
All club coaches are police vetted and provided with training (e.g. alongside Winter Ball) and resources. This year, improved support and development for coaches is one of our four priorities.
