Youth baseball for ages 14-16 is focused primarily on the continued development of strong baseball and teamwork skills while both having fun and competing. Our 14-16 programme is overseen by our club head coach Toshiki Nakao and operates mostly out of Unsworth Reserve.
Junior League (14U) continues player development on a 56/80 diamond.
Senior League (16U) players continue on a full adult sized diamond – this provides a great development level and a pathway to the competitive Big League (19U) grade.
Both of these grades are classed as competitive within the Auckland Baseball Association competition. This means all games are scored and game results and statistics are recorded and maintained within Baseball New Zealand’s scoring application.
