SENIOR LEAGUE (16U)

Senior League grade players continue on a full adult sized diamond. The bases are 90ft (27.4m) apart and the pitcher throws from 18.44m.

Player development continues in this grade and is classed as a competitive grade within the Auckland Baseball Association competition.  This means all games are scored and game results and statistics are recorded and maintained within Baseball New Zealands scoring application. 

The club's focus is on developing strong youth baseball players. The Senior League provides a great development level and a pathway to the competitive Big League (19U) grade. We did not field a 16U team in the 23/24 season, but are fielding two in 24/25, the Archers and the Barons!

Training is twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm at Unsworth Reserve. Games are played at 9:30am on Saturdays.
